VUUNAA Supports University Etiquette Seminar for Freshman Class

The Virginia Union University National Alumni Association recently supported an etiquette workshop for the current freshman class sponsored by Dr. Brock Mayers, dean of students on Friday, August 6. 

The seminar was led by Denise Marcia, an image and brand consultant.

In attendance with VUUNAA president, An’Jou White was her husband, Thomas White who is a VUUNAA life member, and the VUUNAA professional development chair, Robert T. Youngblood.

Students learned about the importance of subtle social graces in all appropriate settings.  Marcia who led the seminar shared tips from her more than two decades’ worth of experience at the university event.
